Peterborough Museum Trip Year 5 & 6

Year 5 and 6 visiting Peterborough Museum to meet 'Mary Anning', who talked to them about her life and discoveries.  The purpose of the visit was to increase their understanding of adaption and evolution.  During the day they handled skulls, fossils and looked at animals.  Ask them about how they would identify whether an animal walked on two or four legs?   The children became Graphic anthropologists as they utilised a new skill and knowledge around camouflage.  Ask them about disruptive camouflage?
